February Sketch
For the challenge at the HobbyFarm blog I created a layout with a picture of our wedding day on 19-9-1991 and one taken in September 2011. It was our 20th anniversary, not a happy one but filled with sadness because DH was fighting cancer at that time and on our special day his operation was scheduled.
On this layout I used an old silhouette sheet of K&Company as a mask.
For this layout I used the following items:
Graphic45 - Le Romantique (papers).
Basic Grey - Sultry (paper), clearstamps journal.
K&Company - Silhouette sheet.
Prima - Blooming Retro (paper), Leaves, Flowers #537456, #552473, Chipboard #551254.
Tattered Angels - Glimmer Mist Latte, Meadow Green.
Ranger - Distress Ink (Scattered Straw, Brushed Corduroy), button.
Maya Road - Flower Pin.
Other - Staples, Waxcord, Ribbon, Fiskars Border Punch.
Now, six months later, DH is doing fine. So happy that this emotional and stressful period is behind us.
I want to thank Nathalie for the award she gave me.
Thanks for visiting my blog hope to see you again.

Creatief met Foto's
The first week in January I got a surprising phonecall from "De Beursorganisatie". The question was if I would like to create something for Creatief met Foto's. I thought it was a joke because I knew that someone else was publishing this magazine. Anne van den Heuvel explained the situation and told me that "De Beursorganisatie" is the new publisher.
Today I posted the package with my first assignment for the magazine and hope that it is good enough to be published.
Wish you a good week.

Time for a challenge
At the Hobby Farm blog you will find the sketch for the January challenge.
Here's my take on the sketch.
The story about this layout is that my brother and his family were in Holland last summer. Eline likes to tinker and here she's working on a figure with ironing beads. It was great to have the family around and spending a lot of time together.
The stuff I used for this layout:
Core'dinations - ColorCore cardstock (snowflake).
Me & My Big Ideas - Modern Milan (paperpad).
Tilda - Autumngarden (paperpad).
Tinkering Ink - Trofiette (papier).
Basic Grey - Doilies (paper), brads and clear stamp.
Fancy Pants - Rub-ons #462.
Prima - Flowers #537456.
Webster Pages - Bloomers.
American Crafts - Thickers (Poolside).
Ranger - Distress Ink (Peeled Paint).
Have fun and join the challenge and create something nice based on this sketch. You have the change on winning a € 10,00 voucher to spend in the Hobby Farm store. Email your layout before February 15 to hobbyfarm@pandora.be. Please take a look at the blog and see what the other girls created.
Have a nice sunday and enjoy the week ahead!
